    NJ Transit buses provide service to Cape May from Philadelphia, New York, and other locations in New Jersey, arriving at the Cape May Welcome Center. From the Welcome Center, many attractions are within walking distance. During the summer, a free jitney service operates throughout Cape May, with stops near major attractions. Download the Jitney Surfer app to track the jitneys and request a pickup. The jitney operates daily from 4 PM to 10 PM, from mid-June to Labor Day.

  • Ferry

    The Cape May-Lewes Ferry connects North Cape May, NJ, with Lewes, DE. From the Cape May ferry terminal, it's a short drive or taxi ride into Cape May. Shuttle service is available to round trip foot passengers traveling from Lewes during the summer season and into the early fall for $6 per person. Reservations are required as space is limited.
