If you are starting from the center of Lewes, head east on 2nd Street towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Savannah Road. Turn left on Savannah Road and walk north. Continue on Savannah Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Lewes Beach. The Lewes Historical Marker is located nearby at the park entrance, just a short walk from the beach.

For those considering biking, start at the Lewes Canalfront Park. Head south along the bike path that runs adjacent to the canal. After about 0.4 miles, you will reach the intersection with Savannah Road. Turn left onto Savannah Road and continue for another 0.5 miles. The Lewes Historical Marker is located at the park entrance, just before you reach the beach area.

If you are using public transit, check the local bus schedule for the DART First State Bus service. Board the bus heading towards Lewes Beach. Get off at the stop closest to Savannah Road. From there, walk north along Savannah Road for about 0.5 miles. The Lewes Historical Marker will be on your left, near the park entrance by the beach.
