From anywhere in New Castle County, take DE-1 S (the Coastal Highway) to the exit for DE-273 W towards New Castle. Merge onto DE-273 W and continue until you reach the intersection with US-13 S. Turn right onto US-13 S and follow it to the exit for Delaware St in New Castle. Follow the signs for Delaware St and turn left. Continue straight until you reach 211 Delaware St, where you'll find First State National Historical Park.

If you are using public transportation, you can take the DART First State bus service. Look for Bus Route 15, which travels from Wilmington to New Castle. Board the bus at any designated stop along the route heading toward New Castle.
