From anywhere in the historic district, the Visitor Center is easily accessible on foot. Head towards Market Street, where you'll find the Arsenal at 30 Market St. It's a short walk from most attractions in the area. There is no cost to walk to the center.

New Castle is accessible via DART bus routes. Route 15 stops at Sixth and Delaware Streets, a short walk from the historic area. Route 51 also has stops within walking distance. A single fare on DART is $2.00.

Taxi and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are available in New Castle. A short trip from the outskirts of town to the Visitor Center will likely cost around $10-$20. Several local taxi services also operate in the area.

Public parking lots are also located at Second and Chestnut Streets, on West Third Street, the corner of West Third and South Streets, and at West Third & Battery Park. Parking is free.
