Walking
From the Newark Train Station at 100 South Main Street, head south for about 0.5 miles until you reach East Main Street. Turn left onto East Main Street and continue for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto South College Avenue and walk straight for about 0.4 miles until you reach Old Baltimore Pike. The Newark Reservoir entrance will be on your left, about 200 feet down Old Baltimore Pike. Total walking distance is approximately 1.5 miles.
Public Transport
From the Newark Train Station, take the DART First State Bus Route 1 towards Delaware Park. Get off at the stop at South College Avenue and Old Baltimore Pike. From there, walk about 0.2 miles down Old Baltimore Pike, and you will find the entrance to the Newark Reservoir on your right. A single ride on DART First State bus is $2.00, or $0.80 for seniors and people with disabilities.
Driving
From the center of Newark, head north on South Main Street, turn right onto East Delaware Avenue, then turn right onto Paper Mill Road. Continue onto Old Paper Mill Road, and the entrance to the Newark Reservoir will be on your left. There is a parking lot available at 242 Old Paper Mill Rd. Parking is free.
