The Delaware View House, located in Walpack Township, NJ, within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, is a historic building with a rich past. Driving
To reach the Delaware View House, navigate to Old Mine Road within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. From Route 80, take Exit 1 and follow Old Mine Road. The house is approximately 1.5 miles past Millbrook Village on your right. Alternatively, from Route 94 in Blairstown, take Route 602 to Millbrook Village, then turn right onto Old Mine Road. There are no entrance fees for the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area itself. Parking is available near the site, though it may be limited.
Walking
If you are already exploring the Millbrook Village, the Delaware View House is a 1.5-mile walk north on Old Mine Road. Old Mine Road itself is a scenic route, and the walk offers views of the surrounding landscape. Remember to stay on designated paths and be aware of vehicle traffic. There are no fees for walking to the site.
