On weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the River Runner shuttle provides free service to points in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The shuttle can transport bikes, canoes, and kayaks. The Martz-Trailways bus provides service from New York City to Delaware Water Gap, PA. The bus stops in Delaware Water Gap. From the bus stop, the Castle is a short walk away.

From the Dunnfield Creek parking area, follow signs to Delaware Water Gap. Parking at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is available at visitor centers, trailheads, scenic overlooks, picnic areas, and recreational areas. Parking may be limited. Some areas charge an entrance fee for vehicles. Fees range from $2 per pedestrian and cyclist to $10 per vehicle.
