Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Wilmington, head south on Market Street towards the Riverwalk. Continue walking until you reach 10th Street, then turn left onto 10th Street. Walk until you reach Washington Street, where you will turn right. Continue on Washington Street until you reach the intersection with Rockland Road. Turn left onto Rockland Road, and after a short walk, you will find Nemours Estate on your right at 1600 Rockland Rd.

    From the Wilmington Train Station, take the DART First State bus route 11 towards the Christiana Mall. Get off at the 'Rockland Road & N. DuPont' stop. From there, walk south along Rockland Road for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach Nemours Estate at 1600 Rockland Rd.

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-share stations. Start by heading north on Market Street, then take a left onto 4th Street.
