Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Aarhus Central Station, exit the station and head southeast on Banegårdspladsen towards Vester Allé. Continue straight onto Vester Allé, and after about 600 meters, turn left onto Ny Munkegade. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Søren Frichs Vej. Cross over to the other side of Søren Frichs Vej and continue straight. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the entrance to the Marselisborg Park. Enter the park and walk through the beautiful gardens until you see Marselisborg Castle ahead.

  • Bicycle

    From the city center, rent a bicycle at one of the many bike-sharing stations. Start by cycling towards the harbor area and follow the bike paths along the waterfront. From the harbor, continue on the bike path until you reach the Marselisborg Park. Once you arrive at the park, park your bike in the designated area and walk towards the castle. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your speed.

    From the Aarhus Central Station, take bus number 18 or 19. Board the bus in the direction of 'Marselisborg'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Marselisborg'. From the bus stop, walk towards the entrance of Marselisborg Park, where the castle is located. The walk from the bus stop to the castle will take around 10 minutes.
