The venue emerged from a strategic relocation in 1973–75, moving from its original 1965 location in northern Copenhagen to its current position on Amager, positioned strategically between the city center and airport. Hall D (Bella Arena) offers a column-free design with five soundproof sections and a 12-meter ceiling, ideal for any configuration. Hall E, crowned by a glass roof with indoor trees, rises to 25 meters and accommodates 2,500 guests. Beyond these grand spaces, the center provides 48 permanent meeting rooms ranging from intimate two-person spaces to 400-person configurations, plus four auditoriums with capacities between 310 and 930 persons.

Bella Center operates as a fully integrated event ecosystem. One of Europe's most advanced high-speed WiFi networks facilitates thousands of simultaneous delegates. Professional audio-visual solutions, comprehensive network infrastructure, and on-site technical support ensure seamless event execution. The center supplies power, water, rigging, stand construction, furniture, signage, security, and cloakroom services, or permits external suppliers under Bella Center supervision. The attached 814-room Bella Sky Hotel, designed by Danish architects 3XN and featuring two inclined towers standing 76.5 meters tall, provides accommodation with 32 conference rooms, three restaurants, a sky bar, and wellness facilities.
