Café Kronborg began in 2014 when Andreas, then just 22 years old and newly trained as a butcher, decided to pursue something entirely different. With no formal culinary training and never having prepared fish before, he opened a small café that would eventually transform into a beloved local institution. What started as a humble operation—where Andreas initially planned to manage customers while staff handled the kitchen—quickly evolved as he found himself at the stove, learning to craft fish croquettes, pan-fry fillets, and plate dishes worthy of serving to discerning guests.

A Growing Culinary Enterprise

The business has expanded thoughtfully over the years. In June 2019, a dedicated fish shop opened, offering fresh seafood and salads to take-home customers. The following spring, in 2020, a 12-hole mini-golf course was added to the complex, creating a multi-purpose destination. Each venture reflects Andreas's core philosophy: deliver quality products in a welcoming environment where all guests feel valued, free from pretension or exclusivity.
