Walking
Start from the center of Herning at the Herning City Hall (Rådhuset), located at Torvet 1, 7400 Herning. Head southwest on Torvet towards Vardevej (Route 18). Continue straight on Vardevej for about 500 meters. You will reach the intersection with Nørregade. Turn left onto Nørregade and walk for about 300 meters until you see the Herning Museum of Contemporary Art (HEART) on your right. This is a good landmark for orientation. From HEART, continue walking on Nørregade until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Møgelmosevej. Walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer until you see a small park area on your left. Befrielsessten i Herning, the memorial stone, is located within this park area.
