The War Museum Travel Guide

The Danish War Museum traces Denmark's military engagement across more than 500 years, from the 1500s to the present day. The newer exhibition "Gamechanger? Drones in War" explores modern military technology and allows visitors to interact with drone displays, connecting historical warfare to contemporary conflicts. The museum's treasury contains extraordinary items spanning centuries. Visitors encounter detailed model ships representing Denmark's naval power, medieval weaponry, suits of armor, and rare artifacts from conflicts around the world. The collection includes pieces from famous historical events—such as items from the 1940 German invasion—alongside modern military equipment.
