    Public Transport

    From Roseau, walk to the bus terminal on the west side of the city near the waterfront. Look for a minibus with 'Mero' displayed on the front. The fare is around EC$3-5. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the bus stop in Mero; the beach is a short walk down the road. Bus fares in Dominica range from EC$1.50 to EC$10.25.

    Taxi

    Taxis are available at the airports and in Roseau. A taxi from Roseau to Mero Beach costs around EC$25-30 and takes 20-25 minutes. Negotiate the fare before getting in. Taxis are identified by the letters H, HA, or HB preceding the registration numbers.

    Driving

    From Roseau, follow the E.O. Leblanc Highway (West Coast Road) north. The drive to Mero Beach is approximately 20-30 minutes. Look for the Mero Beach sign and turn onto the access road. There is a free parking area near the beach entrance. Local vendors may offer 'secured' parking for a small tip. Remember that in Dominica, driving is on the left side of the road. A driver's permit costs US$12.
