The hike is moderately challenging and takes approximately 1.5 hours. Be prepared for a rocky and sometimes slippery path. The trail passes hot and cold springs and offers views of Morne Macaque. Note that a park pass is required for non-residents to access Morne Trois Pitons National Park, which includes Boeri Lake. A day pass costs US$5.00, and a week pass costs US$12.00. Passes can be purchased at the visitor centers or the Forestry Division in Roseau.
