Driving
From the main road near Melville Hall Airport or Portsmouth, follow signs towards Hampstead. The final approach involves a partially unpaved road leading to Batibou Bay. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended due to the rough terrain. Parking is available near the beach. There is a US$5 entrance fee per person to access the beach.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from Portsmouth or a major nearby town towards Calibishie/Hampstead. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Hampstead junction. From there, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk down a dirt road to Batibou Beach. The bus fare is typically around EC$2-5. There is a US$5 entrance fee per person to access the beach.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi from Melville Hall Airport or Portsmouth to Batibou Beach will cost approximately EC$50-80. The taxi will drop you off near the beach entrance. Remember to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. There is a US$5 entrance fee per person to access the beach.
Walking
If arriving by bus at the Hampstead junction, the final approach to Batibou Beach is on foot. Follow the unpaved road for approximately 15 minutes (1 kilometer). The terrain can be uneven, so wear comfortable shoes. Look for signs directing you to Batibou Beach. Upon arrival, there is a US$5 entrance fee per person to access the beach.
