Getting There

  • Public Transport & Walking

    From Portsmouth, take a local bus towards Calibishie. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Hampstead Estate junction. From there, walk approximately 15-20 minutes (1 kilometer) down the unpaved road to Batibou Bay. The terrain can be uneven, so wear comfortable shoes. Bus fare is typically around EC$2-5. Upon arrival at the beach entrance, there is a US$5 (EC$13.50) entrance fee per person.

  • Taxi/Ride-Share

    A taxi from Melville Hall Airport (DOM) or Portsmouth to Batibou Bay will cost approximately EC$50-80. The taxi will drop you off near the beach entrance. Remember to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. There is a US$5 entrance fee per person to access the beach.

  • Driving
