Car

To reach Playa Punta Popy by car, start by heading towards the town of Las Terrenas in the Samana Peninsula. From Santo Domingo, take the Autopista del Nordeste (DR-7) towards Samana. Once in Las Terrenas, follow the signs towards Playa Punta Popy. The beach is located on the eastern side of the town and can be accessed by driving along the coastline.

Public Transportation

If traveling by public transportation, you can take a bus from Santo Domingo to Las Terrenas. From the bus terminal in Las Terrenas, you can then take a local taxi or motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) to Playa Punta Popy. Alternatively, you can also rent a car in Las Terrenas to reach the beach.
