If you are driving from the center of Los Haitises, head southeast on the main road leading out of the park. Follow the road for about 25 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 5. Turn left onto Route 5, and continue for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for signs leading to Las Terrenas; you'll eventually take a right turn onto the local road that leads directly into the town. Once in Las Terrenas, follow the local signs to 7CXV+PJ8 Hiking office, which is located in the center of town.
Public Transportation
From Los Haitises, you can take a local guagua (shared minibus) to Las Terrenas. Guaguas leave from various points in Los Haitises, but the main terminal is located near the park's entrance. The fare is usually around 150 Dominican Pesos. The ride takes about one hour. Once you arrive in Las Terrenas, walk towards the center of town, and you will find the 7CXV+PJ8 Hiking office. It's a short walk from the main bus drop-off point.
