Car
If you're driving, start from Santiago de los Caballeros. Head north on the Autopista Duarte (DR-1) for about 30 km until you reach the exit for La Vega. Continue on the road for another 10 km, and then take a right onto the road leading toward Jarabacoa (DR-28). Stay on this road for approximately 20 km. As you approach Jarabacoa, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Salto de Elena. Once you see the signs, follow them, and park at the designated area near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Santiago, you can take a public car (carro público) to Jarabacoa, which will cost around 100 DOP. You'll find these at the bus terminal in Santiago. Once in Jarabacoa, you should hire a local taxi or moto-taxi for the remaining 10 km to Salto de Elena. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 200-300 DOP. The taxi will drop you off near the entrance of Salto de Elena.

Hiking
After parking or being dropped off near Salto de Elena, prepare for a short hike. The trail to the waterfall is well-marked and takes about 20-30 minutes to walk. Wear comfortable shoes, and bring water with you. The path may be steep in some areas, but it offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
