    From the central area of Cordillera Central, take the main road heading towards Jarabacoa. Continue on this road, then follow the signs to La Vega. Once you reach La Vega, take the Autopista Duarte (DR-1) towards Santo Domingo. After about 20 km, take the exit for Carretera El Choco. Follow Carretera El Choco for approximately 9 km until you reach Monkey Jungle Dominican Republic on your right. Make sure to check for any signs indicating the attraction.

    Begin your trip by taking a local guagua (shared taxi or minibus) from your location in Cordillera Central to La Vega. Once in La Vega, find a guagua heading to Santo Domingo, and let the driver know you want to stop at Carretera El Choco. This part of the journey may take around 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Upon reaching Carretera El Choco, you can either walk the remaining 9 km to Monkey Jungle or try to catch a local moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to the venue.
