You will want to take the Carretera La Romana - San Pedro de Macoris (Autovía del Este). Continue on this road until you reach KM 16, where the Cave of Wonders is located. There are signs along the way that can assist you in locating the cave. Once you arrive, you can park in the designated parking area. Note that there may be a small parking fee.

To reach the Cave of Wonders using public transportation, you can take a bus or a shared taxi (carro publico) from major towns in Cordillera Central to La Romana. Once in La Romana, look for local transport heading towards San Pedro de Macoris. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at KM 16 on the Autovía del Este. Upon arrival, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the Cave of Wonders. Be prepared to pay a small fare for the bus or shared taxi, which can vary depending on your starting point.

If you have access to a car but are staying in a town without direct access to the cave, you can drive to the nearest bus terminal in Cordillera Central. From there, take public transportation to La Romana and transfer to a bus to San Pedro de Macoris, asking to be dropped off at KM 16. Depending on your drop-off point, you may need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the Cave of Wonders.
