Getting There

  If you are driving from any point in Enriquillo Valley, take the main road (DR-1) towards Santo Domingo. Continue on DR-1 for about 150 kilometers until you reach Santo Domingo. Once in Santo Domingo, follow the signs for Avenida 27 de Febrero. After you pass the intersection with Avenida Winston Churchill, turn onto Avenida Independencia. Continue straight until you reach the Botanical Garden, located at F2VW+FMR, Santo Domingo. There is parking available near the entrance.

Buses frequently depart from various points in Enriquillo Valley and the fare is typically around 100-150 Dominican Pesos. Once you arrive in Santo Domingo, head to the nearest metro station and take Line 2 (the blue line) towards the station at Los Alcarrizos. Disembark at the 'Joaquín Balaguer' station and transfer to a local bus or taxi, which will take you directly to the Botanical Garden. Expect to pay an additional fare of about 50-100 Dominican Pesos for this final leg.
