Walking
From the central park of Jarabacoa, walk east along Calle Juan Pablo Duarte. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle Independencia. Turn left onto Calle Independencia and walk for another 400 meters. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Salto Jimenoa. After reaching the end of Calle Independencia, turn right onto a dirt road that leads towards the river. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs indicating the entrance to Salto Jimenoa #1 on your left.

Public Transport
From the main bus terminal in Jarabacoa, take a local guagua (shared minibus) heading towards La Vega or Salto Jimenoa. Inform the driver you are going to Salto Jimenoa #1. The ride should take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive, the guagua will drop you off near the entrance. Look for signs directing you to the waterfall entrance, which is a short walk away.

If you are comfortable biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jarabacoa. Start from the main square and head east on Calle Juan Pablo Duarte. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Calle Independencia and bike for approximately 400 meters.
