Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town in Cordillera Central, such as Jarabacoa. Head east on the Carretera Jarabacoa to La Vega. Follow the signs towards the town of Jima Abajo. Once you reach Jima Abajo, look for the signs directing you to Monumento Natural Saltos de Jima. The entrance is located approximately 3 km from the center of Jima Abajo. Be mindful of the road conditions, as some parts may be unpaved.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a guagua (shared minibus) from Jarabacoa to La Vega. From La Vega, catch another guagua towards Jima Abajo. Inform the driver that you are heading to Monumento Natural Saltos de Jima. The guagua will drop you off at the main road, and from there, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to the entrance of the monument. Ensure you have some cash for the fare, which typically ranges from 50 to 100 Dominican Pesos.

If you are already in Jima Abajo, you can walk to the Monumento Natural Saltos de Jima. From the main square, head east on Calle Principal and continue straight until you reach the entrance of the monument. The walk is approximately 30 minutes, and it's advisable to wear comfortable footwear as the path can be uneven.
