Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Jarabacoa. Head southeast on Carretera Jarabacoa (Route 1) and continue straight for about 3 kilometers. Turn left onto Sendero Ecológico, following the signs for La Confluencia. Continue on this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of La Confluencia, which will be on your left. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as the last stretch may have unpaved sections.

Public Transportation
To reach La Confluencia via public transportation, take a local bus (gua gua) from Santiago to Jarabacoa. The fare is approximately 100 DOP (Dominican Pesos). Once in Jarabacoa, you'll need to hire a motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Sendero Ecológico. The cost for this ride is around 150-200 DOP. Ask the driver to take you directly to La Confluencia, which is about a 15-minute ride from the town center.

For the adventurous, you can hike to La Confluencia starting from Jarabacoa. Begin your hike at the trailhead near the Ecological Park. The hike is about 5 kilometers and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the marked trails and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Make sure to bring water and wear appropriate hiking shoes.
