Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of Los Haitises, take the main road (Carretera Sánchez) heading east. Continue for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the junction toward Las Terrenas. Turn left onto Route 5 (Carretera de Las Terrenas), and follow the signs leading to Las Terrenas. As you approach Las Terrenas, look for the signs indicating Playa Bonita. Once you reach Playa Bonita, Hotel Atlantis will be located on your right at Playa Bonita José Francisco Peña Gómez. Make sure to have cash handy for any tolls that may be on the route.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Los Haitises, head to the nearest bus terminal where you can catch a bus to Las Terrenas. The bus ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and typically costs around 150-200 Dominican Pesos. Once you arrive in Las Terrenas, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Playa Bonita. If walking, head towards the beach area and then follow the coastal road to reach Hotel Atlantis, which is approximately 10-15 minutes on foot from the town center.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Los Haitises. The fare to Hotel Atlantis in Las Terrenas should range from 1,500 to 2,500 Dominican Pesos, depending on your starting point. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the hotel without any stops.
