If you are driving from the center of Samaná, head southeast on Avenida La Marina towards Calle 27 de Febrero. Continue straight to stay on Avenida La Marina, then turn left onto Calle 27 de Febrero. After about 1 km, turn right onto the main highway (Carretera Samaná – El Limón). Follow the signs for 'Las Terrenas' and 'Bahía de Samaná'. After approximately 15 km, take the exit toward 'Bahía de Samaná'. Continue along the coastal road for another 5 km, and you will arrive at Santuario de Ballenas Jorobadas. Parking is typically available nearby, but check local signs for any fees that may apply.

To reach Santuario de Ballenas Jorobadas via public transportation, you can take a local guagua (minibus) from the main bus terminal in Samaná. Look for a guagua heading towards Las Terrenas or Bahía de Samaná. The fare is usually around 50–100 Dominican Pesos (DOP). Inform the driver you want to stop at Santuario de Ballenas Jorobadas, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From there, you may need to walk a short distance (about 10 minutes) to reach the sanctuary. Be sure to check the return schedule for the guaguas to avoid being stranded.
