Car
If you are driving from the center of Sierra de Neiba, head northeast on Calle Principal towards the junction with Carretera 44. Continue on Carretera 44 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Jarabacoa. In Jarabacoa, take a left onto the Carretera a Valle Nuevo (the road sign will indicate Parque Nacional Valle Nuevo). Follow this road for approximately 20 kilometers. You will cross through some beautiful mountainous terrain; be cautious as some parts may be narrow. After reaching the park entrance, you may need to pay a small entrance fee (around 100 DOP per person) to access the national park.

To reach Parque Nacional Valle Nuevo using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or 'carrito' (shared taxi) from Sierra de Neiba to Jarabacoa. The ride will take about 1.5 hours and cost approximately 150 DOP. Once you arrive in Jarabacoa, look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Valle Nuevo. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the park entrance, as some may stop at other locations. The fare for this leg will be around 100 DOP. From the park entrance, you can enter on foot or arrange for a local guide to assist you.
