Getting There

    Start your journey from the city center of Quito. Head southeast on Avenida 10 de Agosto towards Calle Eloy Alfaro. Continue straight for about 10 km until you reach the intersection with the Pan-American Highway (E28). Merge onto the Pan-American Highway and continue for approximately 40 km. Look for signs indicating 'El Quinche' and 'Papallacta.' Follow the signs to Papallacta. You will eventually reach a fork; take the left fork to stay on the E28. After about 30 minutes of scenic driving, you will arrive at Papallacta. From Papallacta, follow the signs to Tena and then to the Arajuno River.
