If you are driving, start from the city of Coca (Francisco de Orellana). From Coca, take the E45 road heading east toward El Retiro. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of El Retiro. Once in El Retiro, follow the signs to the Sani Lodge or ask locals for directions. The lodge is located at HP6C+J8M along the Río Napo. Please note that the road may be bumpy, and a high-clearance vehicle is recommended.

From Coca, you can take a bus heading to El Retiro. The bus ride typically takes about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in El Retiro, you can either take a taxi or ask locals for directions to Sani Lodge, which is located at HP6C+J8M along the Río Napo. After reaching El Retiro, you will need to arrange for a boat transfer to Sani Lodge. This is often included in the lodge's booking package, so check with them beforehand.
