If you are traveling by car, start from Cuenca, the capital of Azuay Province. Take the E40 highway towards El Cajas National Park. Continue on this road for about 30 km until you reach the entrance of the park. At the park entrance, you may need to pay an entrance fee, which is usually around $2. Proceed into the park and follow the signs to Laguna Culebrillas. The drive will take approximately 1 hour and is filled with beautiful mountain scenery. Once you reach the lake area, there are parking spots available.
