From the nearest major city, Latacunga, drive towards the Cotopaxi National Park. Head east on the E28A highway. After approximately 30 minutes, you will see signs for the park entrance. The journey should take about 40 minutes in total. Once you arrive at the park entrance, be prepared to pay an entrance fee, which is currently around $2 per person. Make sure to have cash available.

From Latacunga, take a bus from the main terminal to the Cotopaxi National Park entrance. Buses typically run every hour and the fare is around $2. The bus ride takes about 1 hour.
