If you are driving from the city of Ambato, head east on the E35 road toward Baños. After approximately 50 kilometers, you will reach Baños, a popular tourist destination. From Baños, continue on the E30 road toward Puyo. After about 30 kilometers, you will come to a junction where you can take the road towards Tena. Follow the signs for Tena, and after around 70 kilometers, you will arrive at the town of Tena. From Tena, take the road towards Archidona and after about 15 kilometers, you will reach the area near Rio Jatunyacu. Look for signs indicating the river access points. Please note that parking may be limited near the river, so be prepared to walk a short distance.
