Our tour with the hiking bus was very eventful. We were given many explanations by our guide José, who has excellent knowledge of Ecuador and its history.

It was a very rich and incredible experience with the guide Leo. There were many opportunities to take photos and to learn the history of the volcano. I chose this experience because I believe only this tour offers an opportunity to include a tour of the nearby community. This greatly enriched the volcano tour because I had learned about the historical, cultural, agricultural, and economic role of the volcano for the nearby communities. I would choose this tour again without hesitation. I had a great experience with Leo being my guide. There were many opportunities to take amazing photos and learn about the history of the volcano from Leo. I chose this tour because it was one of the only ones that had a tour to learn more about the local community that depended on the volcano. This tour of the community included a museum where I learned more about the historical, cultural, economic, and agricultural role the volcano played. I would definitely choose this tour again!

Excellent Ecaudor tour

Having read the reviews, we trusted our entire 12 day Ecuador and Galapagos holiday (and quite a lot of money!) to Wanderbus and we could not have been happier. Our guide, José, was very knowledgable, flexible and helpful. Paul, the driver, kept us safe and was also happy to help; thanks to both of them. We worked on the itinerary with Monica who was really helpful in suggesting options and places to stay. We were lucky with the weather but to be honest we’d have loved it all regardless. The Galapagos trip was incredible and we are already hoping to return in a couple of years. The land-based tour suited us well as Santa Cruz has some really good restaurants serving fresh fish, and we liked chilling in the town. The day trips on the boats were fun and never felt too long; although we really want to go back and stay a few days on Isabella next time. Would totally recommend this company, everything was smooth with no hiccups or surprises.
