If you're starting from San Cristóbal Airport (SCY), take a taxi to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, which is about a 30-minute drive. Taxi fares typically range from $15 to $25. Once in Puerto Baquerizo, you can ask for directions to Playa Tijeretas, which is about a 10-minute walk from the town center.
Walking
From the center of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, head west towards the waterfront. You'll walk along Avenida Manuela Cajas until you reach the main dock. Continue along the waterfront, passing local eateries and shops. After about 0.5 miles, you'll see signage pointing towards Playa Tijeretas. Follow the signs, which will lead you up a small hill. The beach is located at the end of a well-marked path.
Car Rental
If you prefer to drive, rent a car in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Follow Avenida Manuela Cajas west out of town, then turn left onto the road leading to Playa Tijeretas. There is limited parking available near the beach. Be aware of local traffic rules and the necessity to drive slowly due to the presence of pedestrians and wildlife.
