Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Guayaquil, head southeast on Avenida 9 de Octubre towards the Malecón 2000. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Chile, where you will turn left. Follow Calle Chile until you get to the Plaza de la Administración Pública and continue onto Calle Vicente Rocafuerte. This will take you towards Cerro Santa Ana. Look for signs directing you to the hill, and once you arrive, park your car in the designated parking areas near the base of the hill.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Faro Cerro Santa Ana using public transportation, you can take a city bus or taxi from central Guayaquil. If opting for a bus, catch the 'Guayaquil - Cerro Santa Ana' line from the terminal or main bus stops. The fare is usually around $0.25. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Cerro Santa Ana. Once you get off, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the entrance of the hill. Alternatively, you can take a taxi for about $5-$10 depending on your starting point, which will take you directly to the base of the hill.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Las Peñas neighborhood, you can simply walk to Cerro Santa Ana. The hill is easily accessible from this area. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. The walk will take about 15-20 minutes uphill, but it’s a scenic route through colorful streets and local art.
