Bus
From the center of Ibarra, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal Terrestre de Ibarra. You can take a local bus heading towards Otavalo. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Otavalo, get off at the Otavalo bus terminal. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Peguche Waterfall, which is about 3 km away. If walking, head east on Calle Sucre, then turn left onto Calle 31 de Octubre, following signs towards Peguche.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Ibarra to Peguche Waterfall. Simply find a taxi in the central area of Ibarra and inform the driver that you want to go to 'Cascada de Peguche.' The journey will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Ibarra. Start from the central plaza and take the road towards Otavalo, following the main highway (E28). This route is approximately 10 km. Once you reach the Otavalo area, look for signs directing you to Peguche Waterfall, which is a short ride from the main road. Ensure you have enough water and take breaks as needed.
