Bus
From the central bus terminal in Loja, take a bus heading to Vilcabamba. The buses leave every 30 minutes and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at Podocarpus National Park. The bus will drop you off on the E682 road near the park entrance.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi from your location in Loja directly to Podocarpus National Park. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The taxi ride should take about 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to take you to the entrance of the park on the E682 road.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, you can walk to the park from Loja. Head south on Av. 18 de Noviembre until you reach the intersection with E682. Follow E682 heading east. The park is about 12 km away, so it will take roughly 2.5 to 3 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
