Walking
From the central plaza of Macas, head south on Avenida 15 de Noviembre. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle 9 de Octubre. Turn left onto Calle 9 de Octubre and walk straight for another 5 minutes. You will see a sign for the 'Caverna del Macabeo de Piedra' on your right. Follow the trail leading towards the cave entrance.

From the central plaza, walk to the nearest bus terminal located on Avenida 15 de Noviembre. Look for a bus heading towards the rural areas or specifically asking for 'Caverna del Macabeo de Piedra'. The ride may take around 20-30 minutes depending on the bus schedule. Get off when the bus stops near the cave area. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions, as the cave is a short walk from the bus stop.
