Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Tena, which is one of the main hubs in the Napo Region. Head southwest on the E20 highway towards Pano. After about 30 kilometers, you'll reach the town of Pano. Continue straight on E20 for another 30 kilometers until you arrive in Riobamba. Once in Riobamba, follow the road signs to the city center and look for the address '89G2+WM8, 5 de Junio'. The park is located near the central area and is easily accessible. Parking is available around the park, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
From Tena, you can take a bus to Riobamba. Buses leave frequently from Tena's main bus terminal. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours and costs about $5-10 USD. Once you arrive at the Riobamba bus terminal, you can either walk or take a taxi to the park. If you choose to walk, head southwest toward the city center; it's about a 20-minute walk. Alternatively, a taxi ride will take around 10 minutes and should cost around $2-3 USD.
Taxi
If you are already in Riobamba, you can easily reach Maldonado Park by taking a taxi from anywhere in the city. Taxis are widely available, and you can either hail one on the street or use a ride-sharing app. The fare should be approximately $2-5 USD depending on your starting point. Make sure to communicate the destination clearly to the driver.
