Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the main square in Mindo, head west on Calle 9 de Octubre. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Quito. Turn left onto Avenida Quito and walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the bus terminal. At the terminal, look for a bus heading to Tandayapa. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tandayapa bus stop, walk along Ruta Antigua Nono for about 10 minutes. Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve & Lodge will be on your left at Km 62.

Taxi
From Mindo, you can hire a taxi directly from the main square. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand; it should be around $10-$15 for a one-way trip. The driver will take you along the main road to Tandayapa, which is approximately a 30-minute drive. Ask to be dropped off at Km 62 on Ruta Antigua Nono, where Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve & Lodge is located.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Mindo. Start from the main square and head towards the Tandayapa road. Follow the road signs towards Tandayapa, which will take approximately 1 hour by bike. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the cloud forest. Once you reach Tandayapa, keep an eye out for Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve & Lodge, which should be on your left at Km 62.
