From the center of Mindo, head south on the main road, Calle 9 de Octubre. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction at the end of the town, where the road splits. Take the path leading down to the right towards San Carlos. Continue on this path for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass through some beautiful landscapes and may even see some local wildlife.
