Getting There

Walking
From the center of Mindo, head towards the main square (Plaza Central). Look for signs that direct you to 'Cascadas de Nambillo' or ask locals for directions. Once at the plaza, take the road called 'Vía a Nambillo.' Follow this road for about 1.5 km until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path which leads to the entrance of the trail. You will see signs indicating the direction towards the waterfalls. Continue walking along the trail for about 30-45 minutes, following the path through the lush forest until you reach the Cascadas de Nambillo.

Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can start your hike from the main square of Mindo. Begin at the main square (Plaza Central) and take the 'Vía a Nambillo.' After about 1 km, you will see a wooden sign indicating the start of the hiking trail to the waterfalls. The trail is well-marked and takes you through beautiful landscapes. Expect to hike for around 1 hour, depending on your pace. Be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water.

Local Transport
For a more comfortable option, you can take a local taxi from the center of Mindo to the entrance of the Cascadas de Nambillo. At the main square, you can easily find taxis waiting for passengers. Agree on a fare before the ride, which should be around $5-$10. The taxi will drop you off at the trailhead. From there, follow the marked trail for approximately 30-45 minutes to reach the waterfalls.
