Walking
From the center of Mindo, head towards the main road (Via Mindo). Walk straight until you reach the bus terminal. At the bus terminal, look for a bus that is heading to Quito. The ride will take about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Quito, exit and find your way to the Plaza de la Independencia, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the terminal. From the Plaza, walk towards the south and you will see the Catedral Metropolitana de Quito located on Eugenio Espejo street.

Start at the Mindo bus terminal and take a bus heading to Quito. The buses run regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive at the Quitumbe bus terminal in Quito, take a taxi or a local bus to the historical center of Quito. You can tell the taxi driver to take you to the Plaza de la Independencia. From there, walk south on Eugenio Espejo street, and you will find the Catedral Metropolitana de Quito.
