Getting There

Walking
From the central plaza in Mindo, head west on Calle de los Pinos. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle 9 de Octubre. Turn left onto Calle 9 de Octubre and walk for another 300 meters until you see a sign for 'Mariposario Mariposas de Mindo'. This will be on your right. Follow the signs towards 'Vía al Mariposario', and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers along this road. The Mariposario will be on your left.

Bicycle
If you're more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mindo. Start from the central plaza and take Calle de los Pinos westward for about 200 meters. Turn left onto Calle 9 de Octubre and cycle for approximately 300 meters until you reach the intersection with the road to 'Vía al Mariposario'. Continue on this road for around 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Mariposario on your left. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way!

Local Transport (Tuk-Tuk)
For a quick and convenient option, you can take a tuk-tuk from the central plaza in Mindo. Hail a tuk-tuk and tell the driver you want to go to 'Mariposario Mariposas de Mindo'. The ride will take about 10 minutes, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance of the Mariposario.
