Walking
From the center of Mindo, head southwest on Calle 9 de Octubre towards the main road. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the E28 road. Turn right onto E28 and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for a sign indicating Tandayapa. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a smaller road on your left leading towards Tandayapa. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, and you will see the entrance to Pacha Quindi Nature Refuge on your right. Look for the sign indicating the refuge.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Mindo, walk to the main bus stop located near the central plaza. Look for a bus heading towards Tandayapa or Tandayapa's route. Board the bus and pay the fare (it should be around $1). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tandayapa, disembark at the main intersection. From there, walk along the road towards the direction of the Tandayapa River for about 1.2 kilometers until you see the sign for Pacha Quindi Nature Refuge on your left.
