Walking
From the center of Mindo, head south towards the main road, Avenida 28 de Septiembre. Walk down this road until you reach the intersection with Vía a Las Cascadas. Turn left onto Vía a Las Cascadas and continue walking straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see the entrance to Reserva Las Tangaras on your right. The walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Mindo. Start from the town center and ride south on Avenida 28 de Septiembre. When you reach the junction with Vía a Las Cascadas, take a left and continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers. The entrance to Reserva Las Tangaras will be on your right. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Mindo. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Reserva Las Tangaras, located on Vía a Las Cascadas. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand if it’s not a metered taxi.
