Getting There

• Walking

  From the central square of Mindo, head north on Avenida 9 de Octubre. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 10 de Agosto. Turn right onto Avenida 10 de Agosto and walk for about 5 minutes. Then, take a left onto Avenida 15 de Septiembre. Keep walking straight for another 10 minutes. You will see a bus station on your right. Continue past the bus station until you reach a large intersection. At the intersection, look for signs pointing towards Quito and follow them. After about a 25-minute walk, you will reach the Mindo bus terminal. From there, take a bus heading to Quito, which takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in Quito, head to Av Ignacio de Veintimilla where Tours Explorer Agencia de Viajes is located.

• Bus

  From the central square of Mindo, walk to the Mindo bus terminal, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once there, purchase a ticket for a bus to Quito. Buses to Quito run frequently throughout the day, so you shouldn’t have to wait long. The journey takes about 2 hours. When you arrive at the Quitumbe bus terminal in Quito, take a taxi to Av Ignacio de Veintimilla y 12 de Octubre. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Request the driver to take you to 'Edificio el Girón Torre E mezanine 3'.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Mindo to Quito. You can find taxis near the central square. Make sure to agree on a price beforehand. The journey to Quito will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Request the driver to take you to 'Av Ignacio de Veintimilla y 12 de Octubre, Edificio el Girón Torre E mezanine 3'. This option is more expensive but offers convenience, especially if you are traveling with luggage.
