We had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Quito Kitchens Food Tour! The food was fantastic from start to finish, with so many delicious dishes and flavors to discover. Be sure to arrive hungry, there was a lot of food, but everything was so delicious that we were more than happy to keep eating! Our guide, Carolina, was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Ecuadorian food and culture. She shared fascinating insights into the history, traditions, and ingredients behind the dishes, making the experience much more than just a food tour. The combination of fantastic food, great local knowledge, and Carolina’s wonderful personality made this one of the highlights of our time in Quito. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of it and would highly recommend the Quito Kitchens Food Tour to anyone visiting Quito who wants to experience Ecuadorian cuisine and culture.

Xavier is a great tour guide. His love for his city and knowledge of its history shows during the entire tour. He made sure we were safe and well-taken care of. With plenty of time to answer all of our questions and to take photos. When we returned to Quito from Galapagos, we had Xavier take us on three more day tours before we flew back home.

Great experience

We had such a great time and are so grateful for this experience. It was a great way to start our trip here in this amazing country of Ecuador. It is a great value as we spent the day with multiple stops including a reserve with hundreds of hummingbirds, a coffee estate with a tour and tastings as well as a chocolate shop with a tour and tastings. We learned a lot and were fed the whole day with snacks at each stop and an included lunch at a local restaurant. Thank you again to Guillermo driving us and for making this day so memorable.
